OBJECTIVE
For the City Council to adopt a Proclamation recognizing May as Mental Health Awareness Month.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Garden Grove City Council has demonstrated their support in recognizing the need for cultivating empathy and understanding for Mental Health Wellness by adopting a Proclamation recognizing May as Mental Health Awareness Month since 2019.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
Adopt the Proclamation recognizing May as Mental Health Awareness Day.
