Subject: Acceptance of an easement for public street and highway purposes for the property located at 11081 College Avenue, Garden Grove. (Action Item)
OBJECTIVE
To request City Council approval for the acceptance of an easement for public street and highway purposes in accordance with Director’s Review No. DR-078-2025 (Project), For a portion of the real property located at 11081 College Avenue, Garden Grove, owned by Hung Nguyen (Owner).
BACKGROUND
On March 11, 2025, the Community Development Director approved the construction of a two-story, 2 ,635 square -foot, single -family dwelling with an attached 500 square -foot garage. The proposal also includes an 800 sq uare-foot attached Accessory Dwelling Unit. (ADU).
DISCUSSION
The applicant’s site plan includes the construction of an ADA ramp at the northwest corner of Walnut Avenue and College Avenue. The dedication is necessary to accommodate this curb ramp. The applicant submitted both plans and the Street Deed.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact to the General Fund.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
Accept the easement for public street and highway purposes for a portion of the property located at 11081 College Avenue, Garden Grove i n accordance with the Director’s Review No. DR-078-2025; and

Authorize the City Clerk to accept the Street Deed on behalf of the City.
