Subject: Acceptance of Project No. S-1353 Roof Replacements of two Water Services buildings at the Garden Grove Municipal Service Center located at 13802 Newhope Street, as complete. (Action Item)
OBJECTIVE
To seek City Council to accept ance of Project No. S -1353 Roof Replacements for Water Services Building No. 3 and Building No. 6, located at the Garden Grove Municipal Service Center, 13802 Newhope Street, as complete.
BACKGROUND
On February 25, 2025, City Council awarded a contract to Letner Roofing Co. in the amount of $66,400 to complete the scope of work that specified replacing two roofs at the Municipal Service Center.
DISCUSSION
The contractor, Letner Roofing Co. has completed the roof replacements in accordance with related plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The total cost of roof replacement at the Garden Grove Municipal Service Center was $66,400.
There is no financial impact to accept the project as complete.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
Accept Project No. S-1353 Roof Replacements for Water Services Building No. 3 and Building No. 6, located at the Garden Grove Municipal Service Center, 13802 Newhope Street, as complete;

Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the Notice of Completion of Public Works Improvement and Work; and
Authorize the Finance Director to release the retention payment when appropriate to do so.
