Subject: Acceptance of Project No. S-1354 - Roof Replacement at City Hall located at 11222 Acacia Parkway, as complete. (Action Item)
OBJECTIVE
To seek City Council acceptance of Project No. S-1354 Roof Replacement at City Hall, located at 11222 Acacia Parkway, as complete.
BACKGROUND
On February 25, 2025, City Council awarded a contract to C. I. Services, Inc. in the amount of $374,766 to complete the scope of work that specified replacing the roof at City Hall.
DISCUSSION
The contractor, C. I. Services, Inc. has completed the roof replacement in accordance with related plans, specifications and other contract documents.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact associated with accepting Project No. S-1354, the City Hall Roof Replacement, as complete. The project was funded by the Building Rehabilitation Fund, with total costs amounting to $374,766.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
Accept Project No. S-1354 Roof Replacement at City Hall located at 11222 Acacia Parkway Garden Grove, as complete;
Authorize the City Manager , or designee, to execute the Notice of Completion of Public Works Improvement and Work; and

Authorize the Finance Director to release the retention payment when appropriate to do so.
