OBJECTIVE
For the City Council to adopt a Proclamation recognizing September 15, 2025 through October 15, 2025, as National Hispanic Heritage Month.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
First adopted by the City Council in 2018, and adopted annually every year thereafter, this Proclamation celebrates and recognizes the histories, cultures, and significant contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities in the United States of America.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
Adopt a Proclamation recognizing September 15, 2025 – October 15, 2025, as Hispanic Heritage Month.
