To Mayor Klopfenstein and City Council,

My name is Brett King and I would like to request a street closure in front of my business (12472 Edison Way, Garden Grove, Ca 92841) for our 3rd Annual Christmas Toy Drive that we hold in collaboration with Trail Wolves. The event will be held on 12/20/25. The event will be free and open to the public.

The partial street closure would begin on Lampson Ave. and Edison Way (see attached map for details). The proposed route would require street closures on Lampson Avenue between Knott Street and Monarch Street, on Edison Way between Lampson Avenue and Belgrave Avenue, on Industry Street between Lampson Avenue and Chapman Avenue, and on Belgrave Avenue between Industry Street and Knott Street. Partial street closures would begin on Friday, December 19 on Lampson Avenue beginning at 8:00 p.m., and full street closures along the event route on Saturday, December 20 from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This map shows details on how the street closure will be sectioned off for booths of local businesses, a food court, portable public restrooms, hand washing stations and the King Shocks Action Sports Arena.

This is a special event since it unites the Off-Road, Overland and Outdoor community together for a great cause. The goal is to work alongside a non- profit organization and local businesses to collect toy donations from the public and deliver them to different charitable organizations within the City and County. We believe it is important to give back to our community and with your continued help, this can become a mainstay event for us and the city of Garden Grove.

Respectfully,

Brett King
