Subject: Adoption of a Proclamation recognizing Magnolia Park Family Resource Center on its 25th Anniversary for 25 years of dedicated service, programs, and contributions to the Garden Grove community. (Action Item)
OBJECTIVE
For the City Council to adopt a Proclamation recognizing the Magnolia Park Family Resource Center on its 25th Anniversary, celebrating 25 years of dedicated service, programs, and contributions to the Garden Grove community.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Established in 2000 through a partnership with the County of Orange Social Services Agency and the Families and Communities Together (FaCT) network, the Magnolia Park Family Resource Center has served as a safe and reliable place of support for Garden Grove families for 25 years.
The Center provides a wide range of services, including parenting workshops, counseling, health and wellness programs, and case management, all aimed at strengthening families and promoting self-sufficiency. Throughout its history, Magnolia Park has assisted tens of thousands of residents and continues to embody compassion, collaboration, and community support in Garden Grove.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
Adopt a Proclamation recognizing the Magnolia Park Family Resource Center on its 25th Anniversary for its continued dedication and service to the Garden Grove community.
