Subject: Confirming the City Council Regular Meeting to be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in accordance to adopted City Council Meeting procedures. (Action Item)
OBJECTIVE
For the City Council to confirm that the Regular Meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, 2025, which falls on Veterans Day, will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
In accordance to Section A -1 of the Manual of Procedure for City Council Meetings (2022 Edition) adopted through Resolution No. 9776 -22, when a Regular Meeting falls on a legal holiday as provided in Municipal Code Section 2.12.020(A), no meeting shall be held on such holiday, but held at the same ho ur on the following business day. Therefore, the Regular Meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Veterans Day, will be held at the same hour, on the next business day, Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

There is no financial impact.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
Confirm that the Regular Meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Veterans Day, be held at the same hour on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in accordance to the Manual of Procedure for City Council Meetings (2022 Edition).
