To maintain eligibility with the Fiscal Year 2026 -27 Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) by adopting a resolution certifying the City’s financial commitment for existing and future FTIP projects.

BACKGROUND

DISCUSSION

The Orange County Transportation Authority requires a City Council resolution certifying that funding listed in current and future City projects is available and committed from each local agency. Further, the City ensures capital funding is available for state and federal matching requirements in developing the annual improvement program.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

There is no impact to certify the City’s financial commitment for existing and future Federal Transportation Improvement Program. The attached resolution is required for future state or federal grant funding.
