For the City Council to adopt the Proclamation commemorating and celebrating April 20 -24, 2026, Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week is celebrated April 20-24, 2026, recognizing the educators and staff who work with youth during out -of-school hours. This week highlights the essential role these professionals play in providing safe, enriching environments, fostering social-emotional skills, and improving academic outcomes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
