OBJECTIVE
For the City Council to adopt a Proclamation celebrating May as Jewish American Heritage Month in Garden Grove.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Jewish American Heritage Month is observed each May to recognize the history, culture, and contributions of Jewish Americans. The Jewish community has played an important role in shaping the nation and contributes to the diversity and civic life of Garden Grove. Issuing this proclamation reflects the City’s commitment to honoring cultural heritage and promoting inclusion and understanding within the community.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
Adopt the Proclamation celebrating May as Jewish American Heritage Month in Garden Grove.
