RESOLUTION NO. XXXX-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE PUBLIC WORKS STANDARD PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS – 2026 EDITION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, Resolution No. XXXX-XX adopted standard plans and specifications establishing standards for the control of engineering design and supervision for construction of public improvements;
WHEREAS, the City Council of Garden Grove recognizes that the design uniformity is in the best interest of the local community;
WHEREAS, standard plans represent the current views of public works officials, eliminating conflicts and confusion thereby lowering construction costs;
WHEREAS, certain revisions are necessary as indicated in the document entitled “Standard Plans and Specifications 2026 Edition” on file in the City Clerk’s office; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer may approve, from time-to-time, certain revisions and additions for the control of engineering design and supervision.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE does hereby resolve, order and determine as follows:
1. Approve the City of Garden Grove Public Works Standard Plans and Specifications – 2026 Edition.
2. The City Engineer and Public Works Director of the City of Garden Grove are authorized and empowered to sign all necessary elements to implement and carry out the purpose specified in this Resolution.
