A SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING of the City Council is hereby called to meet at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, in the Council Chamber, 613 E. Broadway, 2nd Floor, Glendale, CA 91206 to consider the following item(s) of business, to wit;
1.Development, re: Dispense with Public Bidding for Maintenance and Repairs of the Historic Neon Marquee at the Alex Theatre
a.Resolution dispensing with the competitive bidding procedures required by Glendale Charter, Article VI, Section 9 and authorizing the Purchasing Administrator to solicit bids and execute a contract for specialized maintenance and repairs of the historic neon marquee at the Alex Theatre
2.City Attorney, re: Termination of Local COVID-19 Emergency a.Resolution Terminating Local State of Emergency Pertaining to COVID-19, effective February 28, 2023
