1. Authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, to execute a construction contract — subject to approval by the City Attorney — with Access Limited Construction for the Brand Park Motorway Improvements Project, Specification No. 3940, for the amount of $1,096,192.
2. Authorizes a 15 percent reserve for contingency, equal to $164,130.

Council of the City of Glendale finds that, ARC Construction, Inc., has provided the lowest responsive bid, and they are a responsible bidder, for the Glendale Transportation Center Renovation Project, as described in Specifications No. 3926, and that the bid of ARC Construction, Inc. for the amount of $1,306,350, is hereby accepted and approved, as recommended by the Director of Public Works, and that all other bids be, and are, hereby rejected. The Council authorizes the City Manager or his designee to execute a contract, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, with ARC Construction, Inc., in the amount of $1,306,350.00. The Council further approves a reserve for contingencies in the amount of $130,635.00.
