The Joint Meeting of the Glendale City Council and Glendale Housing Authority convened inthe City Hal Council Chambers, in said City, at 3:02 p.m. on the above date, pursuant to a call for such meeting signed by the.City Clerk of the City Council, and on file with the City Clerk, a copy of which is as follows:

A JOINT PUBLIC MEETING of the City Council and Housing Authority is hereby - called to meet at 3:00 PM.on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, in the Council Chamber, 613 E.
Broadway, 2nd Floor, Glendale, CA 91206 to consider the following item(s) of business, to wit:
1. Community Services and Parks, re: Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the 2022 Continuum of Care Program; and City of Glendale’s 2023 Homeless Point-in-Time Count
a. Council Motion approving acceptance of grant funds in the amount of $2,741,171 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the 2022 Continuum of Care (CoC) program; and authorizing the City Manager or a designee to execute all agreements, certifications, and documents necessary to accept and implement the funds
b. Resolution of Appropriation to appropriate grant funds in the amount of $2,741,171 received from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the 2022 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program ‘Cc. Housing Authority Motion approving acceptance of grant funds in the amount of $2,741,171 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the 2022 Continuum of Care (CoC) program; and authorizing the Executive Director or a designee to execute all agreements, certifications, and documents necessary to accept and implement the funds
