Resolution adopting the Plans and Specification for the Glendale Arts and Entertainment District Improvements on Artsakh Avenue Project, Specification No. 3893, Plan Nos. 1-3095, 49-251, 50-685, 50-686, 50-687, GWPO0638AA, IRR-3095, PG-3095, PLA-3095, SSF-3095, and WS-3095; and directing the City Clerk to advertise for bids.
WHEREAS, on November 1, 2022, plans and specification for the Glendale Arts and Entertainment District (A&E) Improvements on Artsakh Avenue Project were presented to the City Council with a request to adopt the project plans and specification and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids; and
WHEREAS, the City Council asked staff to incorporate certain design changes into the project which would add at least a year to the project schedule and increase design cost by over $700,000 in comparison to the design development package presented to City Council in December 2019; and WHEREAS, this resolution authorizes proceeding with the original plans and specifications.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The plans and specification for the Glendale Arts and Entertainment District Improvements on Artsakh Avenue Project, Specification No. 3893, Plan Nos. 1-3095, 49-251, 50-685, 50-686, 50-687, GWPO00638AA, IRR-3095, PG-3095, PLA-3095, SSF-3095, and WS-3095 are hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise for bids for work, equipment and materials described in Specification No. 3893, Plan Nos. 1-3095, 49-251, 0-685, 50-686, 50-687, GWP00638AA, IRR-3095, PG-3095, PLA-3095, SSF-3095, ang WS-3095 Adopted this 13th day of June
