In 2020, l participated in the Glendale Police Department's Community Academy.

List relevant experience and skills: Since moving to Glendale 35 years ago, I have volunteered and served on the board of various community organizations
including the Glendale YWCA, Glendale Memorial Hospital, CDBG Advisory Committee, GUSD Advisory Bond Committee and
Verdugo Hills Business and Professional Women. I also provided pro bono legal services at the Neighborhood Services Domestic Violence Clinic at the Burbank Courthouse.

My understanding of the role and responsibilities of a member of the CDBG Advisory Committee is to work with committee members in annually evaluating community needs and determining funding priorities. The Committee examines and evaluates funding proposals submitted by local organizations and make recommendations to City Council as to which proposals should receive HUD funding.

I volunteered my legal services at the Neighborhood Legal Services Domestic Violence Clinic at the Burbank Courthouse helping DV survivors obtain restraining orders. Currently, I serve as an Elder and a member of the Property & Finance Committee of Glendale Presbyterian Church. Iam a member of The Glendale Historical Society and the Royal Canyon Homeowners Association where I serve on the Neighborhood Security Committee.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Born in Tehran Iran in 1956 to Armenian parents, my family moved to the Boston area in 1963. I am fluent in Armenian. I moved to Glendale in 1988. I have a daughter, Sabrina, who attended Glendale public schools, is a yoga instructor and lives in Glendale. I also have a step-son, Ezroy Cameron, who lives in Los Angeles and is a music producer and composer. I have been married to Donnell Cameron, a recording engineer, since August 2008. We are both retired and enjoy spending time with family and friends, getting away to our beach house in Hollywood Beach and traveling.
