The Special Public Meeting of the Glendale City Council convened in the Brand Studios, in said City, at 8:28 p.m. on the above date, pursuant to a call for such meeting signed by the City Clerk of the City Council, and on file with the City Clerk, a copy of which is as follows:

Mayor Elen Asatryan congratulated the newly elected and reelected officials for City Council, Glendale Community College, and Glendale Unified School District.

2 5. COMMENTS BY OUTGOING COUNCILMEMBERS
Outgoing Councilmember Devine provided her comments during the 6pm City Council Meeting.
6. OATH OF OFFICE TO NEWLY ELECTED CITY OFFICERS: COUNCIL MEMBERS City Clerk Dr. Suzie Abajian administered the oath of office to reelected/newly elected councilmembers, Ardy Kassakhian and Vartan Gharpetian.

8. COMMENTS BY NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS
Councilmember Gharpetian thanked his family and everyone for their support and stated his goals for his term in office.
Councilmember Kassakhian thanked the voters, his family and everyone who helped his campaign. He congratulated Councilmember Gharpetian on his election. Kassakhian also stated his hopes for the city.
