M O T I O N
Moved by Council Member ________________________________, seconded by Council Member __________________________________, that the Council of the City of Glendale, having previously by Resolution No. 23-01, authorized the General Manager of Glendale Water & Power (GWP) to prepare a Request For Proposals (RFP) using the alternative project delivery method for the design and construction of the Pipeline Management Program FY 2022-23, Phase I Project, hereby accepts and approves the proposal of J. De Sigio Construction, Inc. of Baldwin Park, CA for the Chilton/Kenneth Phase I Pipeline Replacement Project (RFP No. 3938) as recommended by the Report dated July 30, 2024 by the General Manager of GWP, and authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, subject to approval by the City Attorney, to enter into a design-build contract with J. De Sigio Construction, Inc. of Baldwin Park, CA in the not-to-exceed amount of $6,636,490, plus a ten (10%) contingency in the amount of $663,649.
