RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
GREENLATINOS FOR THE CITY OF GLENDALE CANOPY IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Glendale is eligible to receive Federal funding for certain community forestry work through the USDA Forest Service and its national pass- through partner, GreenLatinos;
WHEREAS, a Subaward Agreement is needed to be executed with GreenLatinos before such funds can be claimed through the GreenLatinos Urban & Community Forestry Program; WHEREAS, the City of Glendale wishes to delegate authorization to execute these agreements and any amendments thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Glendale, authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute a Subaward Agreement and any amendments thereto with GreenLatinos in order to receive grant funds for the City of Glendale’s Canopy Improvement Project.
