Moved by Council Member _____________________________________, seconded by Council Member ______________________________________, that the Council of the City of Glendale hereby:
1. Accepts grant funds in the sum of $4,930,194 from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) for the purposes outlined in the Report to City Council dated August 20, 2024; and
2. Accepts grant funds in the sum of $7,680,000 from the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) and administered by Metro for the purposes outlined in the report to City Council dated August 20, 2024; and
3. Authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, or the Director of Public Works to execute all agreements, amendments, certifications, and documents necessary to accept and implement both grants.
