MOTION
Moved by Council Member ____________________________, seconded by Council Member ___________________________, that the City Attorney or his designee is hereby authorized to execute a Conflict of Interest Waiver submitted by the law firm of Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP (“BWS”) related to the BWS’s ongoing representation of the City of Glendale in the matters of Casa Green v. City of Glendale, et al. and 238 Serrano Properties LLC v. State of California et al, and the Burbank- Glendale-Pasadena Regional Housing Trust (“Trust”)– of which the City of Glendale is a member – in matters pertaining to advice, counsel and assistance to the Trust with grant agreements between the Trust and the City of Glendale. The Conflict of Interest Waiver shall be in substantially the form attached as Exhibit 1 to the Report to Council dated September 10, 2024.
