M O T I O N
Moved by Council Member ________________________________, seconded by Council Member __________________________________, that the City Council hereby approves the City of Glendale’s participation in the American Public Power Association (APPA) Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER) Cooperative Agreement DE-CR0000015 and authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, to accept a Subaward for the Federal funding approved by the DOE in the amount of $820,644 for Glendale Water and Power (GWP) to implement cybersecurity initiatives. The City Manager, or his designee, is further authorized to enter into and execute a Cooperative Agreement with APPA for the implementation of the Subaward, as well as any document(s) necessary for the receipt and implementation of said Subaward funding, subject to approval by the City Attorney.
