The Special Public Meeting of the Glendale City Council convened in the Police Community Room, in said City, at 11:00 a.m., on the above date, pursuant to a call for such meeting signed by the City Clerk of the City Council, and on file with the City Clerk, a copy of which is as follows:

A SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING of the City Council is hereby called to meet at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in the Rick Reyes Police Community Room, 131 N. Isabel St., Glendale, CA 91206 to consider the following item(s) of business, to wit;
1. GOOD GOVERNANCE WORKSHOP
a. Common myths about government
b. Government roles and rules simplified
c. Decision making what data matters
d. Steps to building consensus on decisions
Written Notice of said meeting was given, which Notice consisted of a copy of the foregoing Call, and was served on each Member of the Council not joining in the Call, and upon the in said City not less than 24 hours before the time fixed in said Call for said meeting, as follows:

- Report of the City Clerk of the City Council, re: Posting of Agenda. The Agenda for the Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Special Public Meeting of the City Council was posted on September 26, 2024, on the Bulletin Board Outside City Hall.
The City of Glendale, California, held a City Council Governance Workshop on October 1, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the Police Community Room.
The Council workshop was planned and facilitated by Kevin Lyons, with logistical support provided by City staff.
Kevin Lyons gave a presentation, facilitated a discussion and fielded questions from City Council on Good Governance including:
