MOTION
Moved by Council Member ,
seconded by Council Member , that the Council of
the City of Glendale finds that, Astro Painting Co., Inc., has provided the lowest responsive bid, and they are a responsible bidder, for the 140 N. Isabel Building and Civic Center Parking Garage Stairways Painting Project, as described in Specifications No. 3966, and that the bid of Astro Painting Co., Inc. for the amount of $61,000 is hereby accepted and approved, as recommended by the Director of Public Works, and that all other bids be, and are, hereby rejected. The Council authorizes the City Manager or his designee to execute a contract, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, with Astro Painting Co., Inc., in the amount of $61,000. The Council further approves a reserve for contingencies in the amount of $6,100.
