W5L?ERT.AS, “Illuminate MADD California” is an initiative organized in 2022 by DWADD California to honor andremember the victims of drunk anddruggeddriving by illuminating lanthnarks, buildings, andhomes in redtakingplace on friday, December l3hhi, 2024, and ThJXTR,TAS, the color red: .MADD ‘s signature color, symbolizes the courage andstrength of the victims and theirfamilies; and
ThTSTTR,TAS, this occasion willsignify the kickoff of the holiday season, highlighting efforts to save lives during one of the most dangerous times of the year on our nation’s roadways—the periodbetween Thanksgiving and2’Iew gear’s Day; and
Th’TS,the campaign serves as a callto action to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving, promote safer traffic measures, andencourage responsible hosting, especially during a time when incidents of impaireddriving increase; and 94731TRT.AS, by lighting up landmarks in red: LMADD hopes to remind the community of the importance ofsafe drivingpractices andto support its mission of eliminating drunk and druggeddriving; and
