1 MOTION
Moved by Council Member __________________________________________, seconded by Council Member ________________________________________, that the Council of the City of Glendale hereby:
1. Accepts Youth@Work funds from the Los Angeles County, Department of Economic Opportunity in the amount of $500,000 from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, to enable the VWDB to distribute those funds to GYA, as outlined in the Report to Council dated December 17, 2024;
2. Approves the award of Youth@Work grant funds to GYA in the amount of $462,500 from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, as approved and recommended by the VWDB, for the purposes outlined in the Report to Council dated December 17, 2024; and
3. Authorizes the City Manager, or their designee, to execute all agreements, certifications, and documents necessary to accept and implement the funding, as outlined in the Report to Council dated December 17, 2024.
