The Special Public Meeting of the Glendale City Council convened in the Glendale Central Library Auditorium, in said City, at 5:03 P.m., on the above date, pursuant to a call for such meeting signed by the City Clerk of the City Council, and on file with the City Clerk, a copy of which is as follows:

A SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING of the City Council is hereby called to meet at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025,this meeting will be remote to consider the following item(s) of business, to wit;
1.City Attorney, re: Findings Pursuant to Government Code Section 54953(e) that the Director of Emergency Services issued a Proclamation of a Local Emergency – Windstorms and Fires on January 8, 2025; and That as a Result of the Ongoing Emergency, Meeting in Person at the January 15, 2025 City Council Special Meeting Would Present Imminent Risks to the Health or Safety of Attendees Moved: Najarian Seconded: Kassakhian

Councilmember Kassakhian stated that the City of Los Angeles is removing two traffic lanes, for a protected bike lane, along Forest Lawn Drive. He stated that existing conditions already have caused traffic backup into the 134 freeway. Kassakhian asked staff for a report on what the impact would be on Glendale when these two traffic lanes are removed.
