MOTION
Moved by Commissioner Zadorian, seconded by Vice-Chair Yank, that the Arts and Culture Commission hereby recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager, or a designee, to enter into an Agreement for Commission of Artwork with an artist/artist team to design, fabricate, and install a public art piece for the Fremont Park Columns Tile Artwork in an amount not to exceed $30,000 dispersed from the Urban Art Program Fund, as more fully outlined in the July 18, 2024 Report by the Library, Arts & Culture's Principal Arts & Culture Administrator:
First Recommendation: Cara Lynch, for the artwork entitled, "Belonging." Alternate Recommendation: J. Muzacz, for the artwork entitled, "Historic Glendale." Votes as Follows:
Ayes: Chairperson Vidor, Vice-Chair Yank, Commissioner Tufenkian, Commissioner Zadorian
