M O T I O N
Moved by Council Member ________________________________, seconded by Council Member __________________________________, that the Council of the City of Glendale, finds that General Pump Company is the lowest responsive bidder to furnish labor, equipment and materials for the Glendale Water and Power Verdugo Metro Booster Pump and Motor No. 3 Repair Project, Specification No. 4009, and that the bid of General Pump Company is hereby accepted and approved as recommended by the Acting General Manager of Glendale Water and Power in the report dated May 6, 2025, and that all other bids be, and are, hereby rejected. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a contract with General Pump Company for a not-to-exceed amount of $68,404, plus a ten percent (10%) contingency of $6,840, subject to approval by the City Attorney.
