MOTION
Moved by Council Member __________________________________________, seconded by Council Member ________________________________________, that, with respect to the report of the Director of Community Services & Parks dated June 10, 2025, the Council of the City of Glendale hereby:
(1) Approves the Director’s recommendation to award a five-year contract for operation of the tennis courts at Fremont Park, with the option to renew on a year-to-year basis thereafter for up to five additional years, to Glendale Tennis Academy, on terms more particularly described in the Director’s report, and authorizes the City Manager to execute the contract; and (2) Approves the Director’s recommendation to award a five-year contract for operation of the tennis courts at Glorietta Park, with the option to renew on a year-to-year basis thereafter for up to five additional years, to Hard Eight, Inc., on terms more particularly described in the Director’s report, and authorizes the City Manager to execute the contract; and
(3) Rejects all other proposals submitted in response to the 2025 Request for Proposals for Tennis Operations at Fremont & Glorietta Parks as being less competitive than those submitted by the above-referenced parties.
