A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE,
CALIFORNIA MODIFYING CERTAIN FEES RELATING TO PARKING
AND AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE CITYWIDE FEE SCHEDULE
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-26
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Glendale adopted Resolutions 24-110 on June 25, 2024, which established certain fees and increased, decreased, and modified certain existing fees for various services, permits, and certificates provided by the City, and amended the comprehensive Citywide Fee Schedule for the Fiscal Year 2024-25; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that in order to continue providing effective services, the City must establish new parking rates for the City’s On-Street Parking Meters, Off-Street Parking Meters, Parking Garage Transient Parking Rate Maximum Fee and Parking Garage Monthly Parking Fees (collectively, the “Parking Fees”).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE that:
Section 1. The Comprehensive Citywide Fee Schedule is hereby amended to adjust the Parking Fees as set forth in Attachment 1, effective on the thirtieth (30 th) day following
adoption of this Resolution.
Section 2. The Council finds that the adjustments to the Parking Fees are exempt from Article XIIIC of the California Constitution pursuant to Article XIIIC, subdivision (e)(4) – “A charge imposed for entrance to or use of local government property.”
Section 3. Except for those fees set forth in Section 1, all other fees in the Comprehensive Fee Schedule will be adjusted pursuant to the annual CPI increase authorized by Council Resolution No. 24-110, beginning July 1, 2025.
