Moved by Council Member , seconded by
Council Member , that the Council of the
City of Glendale hereby:
1. Approves the Verdugo Workforce Development Board’s (“VWDB”) Local Workforce Development Plan 2025-2028 (“Plan”), as recommended by the VWDB, and as more particularly described in the report of the Director of Community Services & Parks dated June 24, 2025; and
2. Approves submission of the Plan to the State of California’s Employment Development Department and the California Workforce Development Board; and
3. Authorizes the Mayor, and the City Manager or designee, to execute all relevant agreements, amendments, certifications, and documents with contractors, vendors, the State of California, and the United States Department of Labor for the Plan’s approval, implementation, and use.
