1 Wow! This looks incredible! So unique! Kids will love this! 10/22/2024 4:53 PM 2 Whichever provides the most shade. Something for young toddlers and kids. 10/14/2024 3:49 PM 3 As much shade And trees as possible please 10/10/2024 8:18 PM 4 Add the play stands from the second option example: the tic tac toe, music instruments, etc. around the truck playground for more play
10/10/2024 4:52 PM
5 A shade would be perfect to protect our little ones from the UV light 10/10/2024 4:45 PM 6 Please add a shade covering regardless which one is chosen!! 10/9/2024 8:22 PM 7 Whatever option is picked, it is highly preferred there is some sort of shade covering. We tend to not stay very long at this park because there is no shade! 10/9/2024 6:43 PM
8 Really hoping we’re not using cars as an aspirational imaginative play environment for our most impressionable community members.
10/9/2024 4:45 PM
9 Love the concept of the big rig, ties into the theme of the gas station. Must include shade and include additional play elements if possible.
10/5/2024 9:37 PM
10 It would be nice to integrate a slide or swing somewhere with this unique design! So cool! 10/5/2024 11:03 AM 11 Consider adding a tire hopscotch and 10/5/2024 11:02 AM 12 Lots of shade! Would love a bathroom too 10/4/2024 10:16 AM 13 Having stair options to get to the slide and other features for smaller kids or kids who can not climb ladder like structures is important
10/2/2024 9:10 AM
14 The custom truck design is very cool, our kids loved it!! 9/22/2024 3:36 PM 15 That truck is so cute and unique compared to the other options. Really gives the children a chance to use their imaginations while playing. It matches the aesthetic of the existing gas station so well and makes it even more special.
9/19/2024 8:32 AM
16 Love this design!! 9/18/2024 4:33 PM
17 I LOVE this truck design....SO creative!! 9/18/2024 9:27 AM 18 The truck is cool! 9/18/2024 7:59 AM
19 A great imagination piece 9/18/2024 6:27 AM
20 Love the active nature play of the wooden truck design. 9/18/2024 6:21 AM 21 More wood, rope, and interesting materials please. Less plastic! San Francisco does a great job with providing interesting playgrounds to their children. It is great for their development! 9/17/2024 9:16 PM
22 Shade super necessary esp with the type of temperatures we will continue to experience 9/17/2024 8:42 PM 23 Looks fun! 9/17/2024 8:28 PM
24 Playbooster with Sail would be option #2, but the truck looks fun and different -- would be a fun choice
9/17/2024 7:35 PM
25 Theming is great and you can see the play elements that they include; 9/17/2024 5:59 PM 26 Please have shade an more amenities related to cars 9/17/2024 5:53 PM 27 Really disappointed there are no swings incorporated in any of the designs. Definitely not a fan of the truck designs.

28 Wonderful homage to the old gas station. The kids will love this truck. 9/17/2024 5:16 PM 29 Either truck structure is genius. Very clever and cool idea to go with the gas station. 9/17/2024 4:20 PM 30 How will it be placed in the park? Hard to tell from the renderings, will we loose the grassy 'field' part?
9/17/2024 4:17 PM
31 Great way to combine climbing and slide features into an innovative big truck. Kids should love it.
9/17/2024 3:56 PM
32 I like the two truck options the most because they connect to the historical/architectural heritage of the mini-park as a former service station. Also, the "Playbooster" designs are very generic and look like every other playground in Glendale (including nearby Palmer Park). I would prefer my community have something distinctive. I can easily imagine children referring to it as "the truck" - "i want to go climb on THE TRUCK" or "I want to go to TRUCK PARK" - this would be great!
9/17/2024 3:49 PM
33 As much shade as possible is needed. Also is it possible to add swings? 9/17/2024 3:39 PM 34 The Truck is cool! 9/17/2024 3:09 PM
35 The truck is so cool - landmark! 9/17/2024 3:09 PM
36 Truck fits the park theme - homage to prior gas station. 9/17/2024 3:07 PM 37 No trucks- we need to stop glorifying cars & trucks, especially to children who are so impressionable. And with the climate heating up, the more shade, the better. 9/17/2024 3:01 PM
38 The votes for the Playbooster design will be split because "Playbooster with Shade Playground" is the same as "Playbooster with Sail Playground" except for the colors and the shade vs. sail. One ballot should be for the playground designs and another ballot for whether it should be shades or a sail. All the playgrounds are missing a monkey bar feature. 9/17/2024 2:56 PM
39 Has yo have monkey bars low enough for toddlers. Plenty shade needed. Swings and no woodchips flooring.
9/17/2024 2:50 PM
40 Don't forget a bathroom! 9/17/2024 2:45 PM
41 Shaded seating for caregivers. Seesaw! 9/17/2024 2:45 PM 42 Such a unique and neat design! 9/13/2024 9:52 PM

1 The Owl is amazing! Kids will love this. Great for climbers!! 10/22/2024 4:54 PM 2 I love Nature Village and Owl Playground, but Robinia seems to cover more interests/activities. Robinia is also seemingly more inclusive to those with physical disabilities, but I like that the other 2 encourage physical activity, adventure, and imagination. The ideal set-up would be 1/2 Owl Playground and 1/2 of the other two design aspects. 10/15/2024 10:11 AM
3 Owl structure is awesome but not very toddler friendly. Seems like it is mainly made for climbing. Missing variety such as swings and slides that can be incorporated here 10/10/2024 11:09 PM
4 Very cool owl playground! When can we get a new structure on the north end of Verdugo Park? 10/10/2024 7:17 PM 5 I like that the first option has two slides smaller and big one to cater to both age groups. 10/10/2024 4:49 PM 6 Please Include a pull up bar 10/3/2024 10:04 AM
7 Owl is so cute!!! Inspiring for the kids 9/21/2024 3:19 PM 8 The owl is awesome and so creative! It's also a spectacle to look at and gives kids a chance to use their imaginations unlike the other options.
9/19/2024 8:34 AM
9 Incredible design!! True artistry. 9/18/2024 4:34 PM

14 Please something different from the usual! Use SF as a model. Their parks are all so different! 9/17/2024 9:50 PM 15 The owl would be really special for Glendale kids! There is nothing else like it anywhere nearby.
9/17/2024 9:21 PM
16 Shade a must. Glad it’s part of project. We need to forward plan for temps we’ve been experiencing
9/17/2024 8:44 PM
17 Tough call, these all look pretty nice. Selecting the owl just because it's completely new and different. Very creative. For a more "traditional" playground, Nature Valley Playground would be a good choice.
9/17/2024 7:37 PM
18 The owl looks amazing - anything that is natured themed 9/17/2024 5:54 PM 19 Nature Village Playground has the right mixture of inclusion, accessibility for all ages, and allows open-ended imaginative play!
9/17/2024 5:28 PM
20 The owl is a creative centerpiece of a park that will be amazing for kids, and wonderful for the city.
9/17/2024 4:59 PM
21 Love the owl playground. Unique, and looks really fun! 9/17/2024 4:16 PM 22 Love it!9/17/2024 4:13 PM

28 How cool is that owl? WOW!!! 9/17/2024 3:08 PM
29 Love the Owl Design and natural wood! 9/17/2024 3:02 PM 30 We would like some blue Incorporated. And some monkey bars that are not too high for toddlers.
9/17/2024 2:52 PM
31 I miss the rocket theme at Verdugo Park so favor the Owl, but it looks limited in options. The Village looks fabulous! Make sure there are bathrooms at the park 9/17/2024 2:47 PM
32 My son LOVED the owl option! He says "everyone is going to love the owl". 9/17/2024 2:40 PM
