M O T I O N
Moved by Council Member _________________________, seconded by Council Member ___________________________, that, with respect to the Report to Council dated September 9, 2025 (“Report”) pertaining to heat pump space conditioners, the Council hereby directs staff, in connection with the local amendments to the 2025 California Building and Energy Codes for future consideration by the Council, to include provisions to require energy conservation measures for air conditioner alterations, replacements and installations in existing single family buildings, duplexes and townhome buildings as discussed in the Report, including exhibits thereto.
