MOTION
Moved by Council Member ,
seconded by Council Member , that the Council of
the City of Glendale, having previously by Resolution No. 25-108, authorized the Director of Public Works to prepare a Request for Proposals (RFP) using the alternative project delivery method for the design and construction of the Grandview Library Roofing and Solar Project, hereby accepts and approves the proposal of AME Builders, Inc., for the Grandview Library Roofing and Solar Project, RFP No. PWA 2025-004, Specification No. 4021, as recommended by the Report dated October 21, 2025 by the Director of Public Works, and authorizes the City Manager, or designee, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, to enter into a design-build contract with AME Builders, Inc., in the not- to-exceed amount of $382,500. The Council further approves a reserve for contingencies in the amount of $38,250.00.
