A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA
MODIFYING CERTAIN FEES RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION BUREAU
AND AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE CITYWIDE FEE SCHEDULE
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-26
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Glendale adopted Resolutions 24-110 on June 25, 2024, which established certain fees and increased, decreased, and modified certain existing fees for various services, permits, and certificates provided by the City, and amended the comprehensive Citywide Fee Schedule; and WHEREAS, the Council has determined that certain fees in the Fire Prevention Bureau were inadvertently transposed and other CalEPA pass-through charges were incorrectly listed as city fees.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE that:
Section 1. The Comprehensive Citywide Fee Schedule is hereby amended to state:
a. Fire Sprinkler Fees:
oFee #39 Inspection Per Head: $6
oFee #40 Plan Check Per Inlet/Outlet: $32
b. CUPA State Surcharge Fees:
oFee #167 Reference the CalEPA State Surcharges
oFee #174 Reference the CalEPA State Surcharges
oFee #175 Reference the CalEPA State Surcharges
oFee #176 Reference the CalEPA State Surcharges
Effective on the thirtieth (30th) day following adoption of this Resolution.
Section 2. Pursuant to Article XIIID, subdivision 6 (b)(1) of the California Constitution (if applicable) and Government Code Section 66016, the Council finds that the revenues derived from the fees approved hereby will not exceed the estimated costs necessary to provide the service
