RESOLUTION NO._________
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE,
CALIFORNIA, DEDICATING A PORTION OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY AT
THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAN FERNANDO ROAD AND GRANDVIEW
AVENUE FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES AND ACCEPTING SAME INTO THE CITY STREET SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale owns certain property located at the southwest corner of San Fernando Road and Grandview Avenue; and
WHEREAS, a portion of said property was acquired for public use but has not yet been formally dedicated and accepted as part of the City Street System; and WHEREAS, the dedication and acceptance of a portion of this property as public right- of-way is necessary to provide adequate street and utility operation purposes; and WHEREAS, the city’s surveyor has prepared a legal description and dedication map, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and Exhibit “B” respectively, describing the portion of property to be dedicated and accepted into the City Street System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE:
SECTION 1. That the portion of City-owned property described in Exhibit “A” and shown in Exhibit “B” is hereby dedicated for public street purposes and accepted into the City Street System.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution, with attachments, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3.The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
