RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE TO ACCEPT
THE CITY OF GLENDALE ANNUAL DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE REPORT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2025, DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE DISCLOSURE
INFORMATION FOR PARKS & LIBRARIES DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES AND HOUSING DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2025, PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 66006 et seq.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Mitigation Fee Act (Government Code section 66000, et seq.), California Government Code section 66006(b)(1) requires that within 180 days of the last day of each fiscal year, the local agency must make available to the public at a public meeting the following information for each separate account established to receive impact fee revenues; and WHEREAS, the Mitigation Fee Act requires certain findings be made regarding unexpended development impact fees in connection with consideration of the annual development impact fee report; and
WHEREAS, the Annual Development Impact Fee report for FY 2024-25 identifies impact fee programs for which are unexpended development impact fees for which findings are required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council approves the Annual Development Impact Fee Report for FY 2024-25.
SECTION 2. The City Council finds the following as required by Government Code section 66001(d) and based upon review of the Annual Development Impact Fee Report for FY 2024-25:
A.That the purpose of the development impact fees has been identified.
B.That there is a continued need for the improvements and that there is a reasonable relationship between the fees and the impacts for development for which the fees are collected.
C.The sources and amounts of funding anticipated to complete the financing of improvements have been identified.
D.The approximate dates for funding improvements are included in the City’s Adopted Budget of FY2024-25 Capital Improvements programs unless the improvements are longer term projects.
