2. City Attorney, re: Closed Session-Conference with Legal Counsel – Anticipated Litigation. Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to subdivisions (d)(2) and (e)(2) of Government Code Section 54956.9: One Potential Case
City Attorney, Michael Garcia, stated Council anticipates reporting out on the Closed Session item.
The Council recessed to Closed Session at 1:09 PM.

Councilmember Kassakhian moves that the Council directs staff to schedule a public hearing as soon as practicable to rescind the Council’s October 21,2025 design review decision related to the project proposed at 236 N. Central Avenue, 201 W. California Avenue and 212 W. California Avenue and to consider approval of said project.
