MID CONSTRUCTION GROUP, Los Angeles, CA
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER 2022 - PRESENT
MID Construction Group is a General Construction Contractor and real estate developer (dba MIDOS Development) operating in the multi-family sector in Southern California. The company is deploying a growing backlog of approximately $100M in projects in various stages of entitlement and construction. I oversee all aspects of construction payment applications, corporate finance, treasury, accounting, risk management and information technology.
GMV SYNCROMATICS, Los Angeles, CA
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER 2011 - 2022
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER 2011 - 2016, 2019-2022
GMV Syncromatics is a systems integration engineering company in the transportation industry. The company provides computer-aided dispatching, onboard vehicle management control systems and vehicle location tracking for fixed route bus fleets throughout the United States.
My responsibilities as CFO generally included managing the finance/accounting team, overseeing budget, treasury and tax planning and overseeing project teams to maximize revenue recognition and meet budget expectations. During my tenure I also helped negotiate the sale of the company to GMV Innovating Solutions SL, as well as the acquisition of a software company (Mobilitat). For these transactions I oversaw all due diligence efforts and helped negotiate the transactions as well as employment and equity agreements with key employees.
After the acquisition by GMV I oversaw the gradual integration of the company into GMV globally, including a full migration of ERP and MRP tools to align with the corporate parent company. As a member of the board of directors, I regularly reported to the board to help direct the long-term growth and strategy of the company. I directed the company's growth of approximately 20x in revenues and 14x in staffing, including opening up a second headquarters office and production center in Houston in 2020 (during the COVID pandemic).
RALEIGH ENTERPRISES, Santa Monica, CA 1988 - 1996
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS PLANNING
Reporting to both the CFO and CEO at the Company's corporate headquarters, I supervised the planning of new real estate development projects and business ventures in film studios (Raleigh Studios), hotels, food & beverage operations (the Westwood and Sunset Marquis Hotels), records management Christopher Welch
(FileKeepers) and other businesses. Specific areas of my responsibility included acquisition due diligence, preparation of lender financial packages, overseeing construction accounting, and finally, planning and implementing extensions of existing operations and developing new, stand-alone business opportunities.
pivoted the Company from being more than 80% reliant on spending from school districts in 2007 to where in 2010 more than 80% of the company's revenue was derived from parent-supported programs operated in partnership with municipal governments or educational service providers.

As an Architectural and Interior Designer with extensive experience, I recognize the Design Review Board's essential role in maintaining a balance between innovation and community character. New developments must not only respect the historical, cultural, and architectural integrity of their surroundings but also promote creativity and sustainable solutions. It is this balance that ensures our neighborhoods evolve thoughtfully, honoring both the past and the future,
Key challenges that the Board addresses—-such as managing the tension between preserving traditional aesthetics and embracing modern design, ensuring compatibility in mass, scale, and materials, and addressing concerns around urban growth-are issues I am deeply passionate about. My experience in integrating modern and transitional architectural styles into traditional settings equips me to contribute meaningfully to these discussions.
