MOTION
Moved by Council Member , seconded by Council Member , that the Council of the City of Glendale hereby approves an $18,000 sponsorship of the California State Open Chess Tournament, as more particularly described in the Report to Council dated March 24, 2026. The Council authorizes the City Manager or his designee to execute any necessary agreements with event organizers, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
