Councilmember Asatryan attended the First Robotics Competition held at Glendale High School and the YWCA Centennial Celebration. She discussed ways the Commission on the Status of Women and Glendale Community College could partner on future events and research initiatives. She also praised the recent women in film panel hosted by the Armenian Film Society as well as the recent Zatik Kids Festival and Eggstravaganza.

Councilmember Gharpetian also attended the YWCA Centennial reception. He attended the City Council Candidate Forum organized by the Northwest Glendale Homeowners Association, as well as the Eggstravaganza. He questioned the use of City property for campaign purposes, citing the No Kings Rally in Parcher Plaza as an example. He also asked why the La Crescenta Avenue Project has not yet been completed.

City Manager Golanian shared that the La Crescenta Avenue Project had been anticipated to be completed by December 2025; however, the expansion of the Twelve Oaks senior housing facility includes the undergrounding of power and communication cables. As a result, the street paving portion of the project has been delayed until that undergrounding is complete.

Councilmember Gharpetian also discussed providing clarification regarding Councilmember use of the professional headshots the City takes of elected officials.

Mayor Najarian shared several upcoming events, including the Earth Day Fair on April 4, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Verdugo Park; the Autism Awareness Resource Fair on April 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pacific Park; and the 11th Annual Montrose Craft Beer Festival on April 12, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
