M O T I O N
Moved by Council Member _________________________, seconded by Council Member ___________________________, that with respect to the Joint Report to the Council and Housing Authority dated April 28, 2026 (“Report”) regarding the Emergency Housing Choice Voucher Transition Plan, the Council directs staff on the Section 8 waitlist strategy as follows:
1. Option 1 – Council directs staff to pursue the HUD Waiver as described in the Report.
2. Option 2 – Council directs staff to initiate a target waitlist opening as described in the Report.
3. Option 3 – Council may defer waitlist action as described in the Report.
