M O T I O N
Moved by Council Member ________________________________, seconded by Council Member __________________________________, that the Council of the City of Glendale, finds that Transfluid Services Inc. is the sole responsive bidder to furnish labor, equipment and materials for Glendale Water & Power’s (GWP) Testing Transformer, Load Tap Changer, Regulator, and Circuit Breaker Oil, Specification No. 4013, and that the bid of Transfluid Srvices Inc. is hereby accepted and approved as recommended by the General Manager of Glendale Water & Power in the Report dated June 9, 2026. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a three-year contract with Transfulid Services Inc. for a not-to-exceed amount of $124,040 plus a 10% continency of $12,404 per year, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $372,120 and contingency amount of $37,212, with the City’s option to extend said contract for two 1-year terms at a 3% escalation for both years for an annual not-to-exceed amount of $127,762 plus a 10% contingency of $12,776 per renewal year, for a total two-year renewal not-to-exceed amount of $255,524 and contingency amount of $25,552. The contract and any amendments thereto shall be subject to approval by the City Attorney.
