MOTION
Moved by Council Member ____________________________, seconded by Council Member ___________________________, that, with respect to the June 9, 2026, report of the directors of Community Development and Community Services & Parks, the City Council of the City of Glendale hereby:
(1) Approves the reprogramming of undesignated fund balance from Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds in the amount of $57,967, awarded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to the Elk Mini Park Playground Project in the amount of $57,967;
(2) Authorizes the City Manager or a designee to execute all agreements, amendments, certifications, and documents necessary to carry out the reprogramming of funds; (3) Authorizes submission to HUD of a substantial amendment to the FY 2020-2021 and 2025-2026 CDBG, Emergency Solutions Grant, and HOME Investment Partnerships Act Annual Action Plans regarding the reprogramming of funds; and (4) Authorizes the City Manager, or a designee, to redirect excess, cancelled, or unused program funds under $50,000 among projects with CDBG Advisory Committee approval.
