Moved by Council Member _________________________, seconded by Council Member ___________________________, that with respect to the Report to Council dated June 23, 2026 (“Report”) regarding personal delivery devices (PDDs) on public rights-of way, the Council directs staff to prepare draft regulations pertaining to PDDs including but not limited to permitting structure, operating standards, fleet limitations, operating distances, geographic restrictions, hours of operation, levels of automation, insurance and indemnity, ADA and accessibility requirements, device identification, data reporting, incident reporting, penalties, impoundment, and administrative remedies, as follows:
