Moved by Council Member ________________________________, seconded by Council Member __________________________________, that the Council of the City of Glendale, having previously by Resolution No. 26-02, authorized the General Manager of Glendale Water & Power (GWP) to prepare a Request For Proposals (RFP), RFP No. 3998, using the alternative project delivery method to Furnish Materials, Equipment, and Labor for GWP’s Substation Battery, Charger, and Rack System Replacement Project, hereby accepts and approves the proposal of Las Colinas Engineering dba Las Colinas Electrical, as recommended by the report dated August 11, 2026 by the General Manager of GWP, and authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, subject to approval by the City Attorney, to enter into a engineer-procure- construct contract with Las Colinas Engineering dba Las Colinas Electrical, in the not- to-exceed amount of $962,961, plus a ten (10%) contingency in the amount of $96,296.
