- Report of the City Clerk of the City Council, re: Posting of Agenda. The Agenda for the Tuesday, June 30, 2026 Special Public Meeting of the City Council was posted on June 25, 2026, on the Bulletin Board Outside City Hall.
2. MAYOR'S WELCOME
Mayor Kassakhian congratulated the newly elected and reelected officials for City Council and welcomed outgoing Councilmember Najarian to give comments.
3. REGULAR BUSINESS AGENDA
4. COMMENTS BY OUTGOING COUNCILMEMBERS
Outgoing Councilmember Najarian provided comments on his years as a Councilmember and advice for the new Council. He left the meeting at 8:07 PM.
5. NEW BUSINESS
a. City Clerk, re: Declaring the Result of the General Municipal Election of June 2, 2026

6. OATH OF OFFICE TO NEWLY ELECTED CITY
Assistant City Clerk Aram Adjemian administered the oath of office to reelected City Clerk Dr. Suzie Abajian.

Rafi Manoukian, and reelected/newly elected Councilmembers Elen Asatryan, Dan Brotman, and Alek Bartrosouf.
7. NEW COUNCIL IS SEATED
8. COMMENTS BY NEWLY-ELECTED OFFICIALS
City Clerk Dr. Abajian congratulated her fellow elected officials, including the City Treasurer, City Councilmembers, and Glendale Community College (GCC) and Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) Board members. She thanked her family, friends, staff, and the Glendale community for their support.
City Treasurer Manoukian congratulated all the reelected and newly elected officials for the City Council, GCC and GUSD Boards, and City Clerk. He thanked all those that supported his campaign.
Councilmember Brotman thanked everyone who supported his campaign and stated his goals for the new Council term.
Councilmember Asatryan congratulated Councilmembers Brotman and Bartrosouf on their election victories. She stated guiding principles for her Council priorities for the new term, and thanked the people of Glendale, her family, and friends.
Councilmember Bartrosouf stated his gratitude to the voters of Glendale for their trust in him to serve on the Council. He thanked his family, campaign manager and volunteers. He shared his background and his hopes for his first term in office.
He congratulated fellow elected Councilmembers, the City Treasurer and the City Clerk on their election victories.
Councilmember Gharpetian and Mayor Kassakhian congratulated the reelected and newly elected Councilmembers, City Treasurer, City Clerk, GCC Trustees and GUSD Board members.
