M O T I O N
Moved by Council Member ________________________________, seconded by Council Member __________________________________, that the Council of the City of Glendale finds that that the Council of the City of Glendale, having previously by Resolution No. 23-24 as amended by Resolution No. 23-179, authorized the General Manager of Glendale Water & Power Department (GWP) to utilize the engineer, procure, construct (EPC) alternative project delivery method for the construction of the Project, and further approved the selection of Motive Energy Storage Systems, LLC (Motive Energy) on November 14, 2023, hereby authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, subject to approval of the City Attorney, to enter into an EPC contract with Motive Energy for the engineering and construction of the Brand Park Solar Photovoltaic Project for a not to exceed amount of $3,790,797, plus a 15% contingency of $568,620, as recommended in the report dated August 25, 2026 by the General Manager of GWP.
